Throughout the process of developing this website, I asked my iPad what it wants, what was it’s problem, restored the site from a backup, asked it why or just ranted and raved about CSS code, scripts, plugins, talking pigeons, chipmunks and rabbits in a mafia crime family way too many times to count.
I had planned a much more detailed and dramatic server shutdown sequence but WordPress scrubbed all of my Java Script. AI offered several solutions but all of them failed. I created a new website in Canva with the shutdown sequence code, then just embedded the link in the appropriate HTML location. It worked beautifully.
Using AI as a storytelling tool has been very successful. There are infinite possibilities, no matter what direction you want to go in or allow AI to go in.
Our first story was a play on Snow White, entitled “Snow Ava and The Sassy Seven”. The evil Queen Permafrostia and her mirror Glassy G, a rapper who is very honest with the Queen who tries to take over Ava’s empire. Our second story was about Ava receiving a ransom note from the neighbourhood kids, demanding that Ava create a new playground to replace the old worn and dilapidated playground. The kids stole her blue pen and told her that they meant business. No matter what the story is, Ava will always be the star and hero.
Gemini gave me an unsolicited ending that I hadn’t even considered but loved and knew it was the perfect ending. Ava connects with her heritage and brings the struggles and hardships that Serbian women endured to light. I was quite moved by the work being done to better human rights for Serbian women.
